Studi Tentang Kemampuan Mahasiswa Semester Ke-4 Program Studi Bahasa Inggris Fkip Universitas Riau dalam Menggunakan Persesuaian/konkord

This study was aimed to find out the ability of the fourth semester students of English Study Program of FKIP University of Riau in using agreements. The researcher used cluster random sampling technique to determine the sample. The samples were 26 students. The study was used to find out the ability in five types of agreements such as agreements with indefinite pronoun, agreements with expression of quantity, agreements with some irregularities, agreements with nouns with no singular form, and agreements with collective noun. Cloze procedure test was used to gain the data with the number of tests is 40 questions. The result of the study revealed that the total mean score was 56 which indicated students were in average level of ability. The highest score with the mean score 67.7 was in using agreements with nouns with no singular form, it is in good level. Whereas, the lowest score with the mean score 45.6 was in using agreements with collective noun, it is in poor level

PELATIHAN PEMANFAATAN TEPUNG KULIT PISANG DAN DAUN TALAS SEBAGAI PANGAN FUNGSIONAL DI DESA JAMBULUWUK

AbstrakDesa Jambuluwuk di Kecamatan Ciawi kebanyakan penduduknya adalah petani dan pedagang buah pisang. Kebun penduduk juga banyak ditumbuhi tanaman talas. Limbah kulit pisang dan daun talas saat ini hanya dibuang atau dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak. Kulit pisang dan daun talas mengandung senyawa yang bermanfaat untuk kesehatan, seperti untuk pengobatan dan pencegahan penyakit hipertensi, diabetes militus (DM) ataupun sebagai antioksidan.Keduanya juga berpotensi untuk dapat diolah menjadi pangan fungsional seperti biskuit. Biskuit dengan rasanya yang manis, gurih dan renyah, dapat dikonsumsi oleh segala usia. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan mitra sehingga dapat mengembangkan usaha, meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraannya. Kegiatan dimulai dengan penyuluhan dan pemaparan manfaat kulit pisang, daun talas dan pengertian pangan fungsional. Selanjutnya cara pembuatan tepung kulit pisang dan daun talas yang aman dikonsumsi, diikuti cara pembuatan biskuit. Dan terakhir memberikan pemaparan cara pengemasan dan management pemasarannya agar produk yang dihasilkan laku di pasaran dan memiliki nilai ekonomi.Kata Kunci: kulit pisang, daun talas, pangan fungsional, biskuitAbstractJambuluwuk Village in Ciawi District is mostly inhabited by banana farmers and traders. The residents' gardens are also overgrown with taro plants. Banana peel and taro leaf waste is currently only thrown away or used as animal feed. Banana peels and taro leaves contain compounds that are beneficial to health, such as for the treatment and prevention of hypertension, diabetes mellitus (DM) or as antioxidants. Both of them also have the potential to be processed into functional foods such as biscuits. Biscuits with a sweet, savory and crunchy taste can be consumed by all ages. This activity aims to improve partner skills so that they can develop their business, increase their income and welfare. The activity began with counseling and explaining the benefits of banana peels, taro leaves and the meaning of functional food. Next, how to make banana peel flour and taro leaves which are safe for consumption, followed by how to make biscuits. And finally, it provides an explanation of how to pack and manage its marketing so that the resulting product sells well in the market and has economic value.Keywords: banana peels, taro leaves, functional food, biscuit

The aims of this research is to develop CTL based instructional instrument on light concept and to know the effect of CTL based instructional instrument's application to increase eighth years student physics achievement. The design is a quasi-experimental research and used R&D method. Research subject was eighth years students at Junior High School 1 Kuripan. Data were analyzed using t test at significant level 5%. The average value of N-Gain obtained through pretest and posttest data. This indicates that the application of CTL based instructional instrument on light concept has effect to increase eighth student physics achievement

Keanekaragaman Jenis Tumbuhan Paku-pakuan (Pteridophyta) di Desa Bemban Kawasan Hutan Lindung Gunung Ambawang Kecamatan Kubu Kabupaten Kubu Raya

Research on Fern Diversity (Pteridophyta) In Bemban village In Mount Ambawang Protected Forest Kubu Kubu Raya District of West Kalimantan Province was held on September 16 th to October 7 th , 2013. Sampling plot was taken purposive where there were many fern found. There were four sampling plot based on height. Plot I located in 50-150 m above sea level altitude, plot II in 150-250 m above sea level altitude, plot III in 250-350 m above sea level altitude,and plot IV in 50-150 m above sea level altitude (rubber plantations). Each sampling plot 40 m x 40 m, divided into 160 subplot 2 m x 5 m aech. There were 13 fern species with 4162 individual these species consist of 8 terresterial fern with 3799 individual, and 5 epiphytic fern with 813 individuals. The plot at altitude of 50-150 m,were dominated by Lygodium circinatum and Asplenium nidus, altitude 150-250 m were dominated by Acrostichum spesiocum and Asplenium nidus, altitude 250-350 m dominated by Selaginella wildenowii, Asplenium longisimmum height of 50-150 m asl (rubber plantation) dominated by Nephrolepis biserrata and Asplenium nidus. The highest diversity index value was at altitude 150-250 m (2,043) which means the species diversity of ferns were low. Similarity index was highest between altitude 250-350 m and altitde 50-150 m in rubber plantation,in the value 5,638 %. It means between thw different plot there is no similarity (¤ 25 %). Model Average Based FTS Markov Chain Untuk Peramalan Penggunaan Bandwidth Jaringan Komputer

—This paper discusses the problem of modeling the computer network bandwidth USAge forecasting using averages based-fuzzy time series (FTS) are developed with a combination of Markov chains. This forecasting model development aims to get better forecasting results, especially regarding the accuracy of forecasting. Development of methods is done by inducing Markov chain method with mathematical rules and applied at a particular stage. The development model is applied to forecast traffic data bandwidth USAge on a computer network. The results show that the average based FTS forecasting model with the addition of a Markov chain has a value of forecasting accuracy better than average based FTS method, with the percentage increase in average accuracy of 41.590%, if the prediction error calculation using the average difference MSE and amounted to 30.348%, if the forecasting error calculation using the average difference MAPE. With the expected results of this innovation can be applied to the management traffic bandwidth on the network computer.Keywords— Method development, average based FTS, Markov chain, bandwidth USAge
